Common mistakes
- Serving a normal patty. It has to go through the dumpster first.
- Wrong ingredients. Tomato unlocks on Day 7 too, so double-check the ticket.
- Letting the rest of the restaurant fall apart. In co-op, send one player to handle the inspector while the others keep serving.
- Leaving trash near the dumpster. The Hash-Slinging Slasher appears more often when trash piles up.
Why it matters
Your star rating drops for failed Health Inspector visits. Stars feed the 2- to 5-Star Restaurant badges, and the 5-Star Restaurant badge is one of the rarest in the game.

Can I use the Orb of Confusion or water gun to make him leave?
Not confirmed. The only known way to pass is serving the Nasty Patty, so plan on that. We're testing whether tools affect him.
Is it worth passing?
Yes. Passing a Health Inspection is a lobby task worth 5 Doubloons, on top of protecting your stars.
What is a Nasty Patty?
A Krabby Patty dipped in the outdoor dumpster. It's what the Health Inspector wants.
When does the Health Inspector appear?
On Day 7.
Where is the dumpster?
Outside the restaurant. The guide arrows in the tutorial point out the main areas if you're unsure.
