Save the Krusty Krab Day 5: Surviving the Anchovy Rush

Day 5 is the first real wall. A wave of anchovies floods the register, and Coral Bits join the menu at the same time.

Reviewed WalkthroughUnofficial fan guide

Quick answer

Put your fastest player on the register and keep taking orders until the line is gone. Cook ahead on the grill only for orders already taken, and clear priority tickets before their timers run out. Failing the rush can shut the restaurant down, so everything else waits until the line is clear.

What happens on Day 5

  • Coral Bits unlock at the fryer. They can catch fire, just like patties.
  • An anchovy rush arrives at the register: far more customers at once than any earlier day.
  • That night the Orb of Confusion is introduced, which you’ll want for Day 6 and Day 9.

Step by step

  1. Before the rush: empty the trash, refill your energy and clear any dirty tables so nothing distracts you later.
  2. When the anchovies arrive: one player stays on the register and only takes orders. Solo, take a batch of orders, then cook them all in one go.
  3. Watch priority timers. Serve the tickets closest to running out first.
  4. Don’t forget the fryer. Coral Bits left too long start a fire, which costs stars and time.
  5. After the rush: collect every tray and tip to end the day, then spend your cash in the Night Shop.

Best classes for Day 5

Squidward earns +2 dollars for every order taken, which adds up fast during a rush. Sandy’s two extra tray slots mean fewer delivery trips, and Jim keeps the grill moving. See all class perks.
