Save the Krusty Krab Solo Guide

Run the register, kitchen and dining room alone with a repeatable shift plan, sensible class choices and a clear closing checklist.

Quick answer

Set Crew Size to 1 and keep the tutorial on for your first run. Our recommendation: learn one complete order at a time, prepare only unlocked menu items, and check energy between jobs. Buying SpongeBob is optional.

How to start a solo run

Use a green matchmaking pad outside the restaurant, choose one player in Match Setup, then start. Tutorial prompts introduce the stations. Before moving on, identify the register, grill, assembly table, dining tables and cleanup tools; knowing where to return matters more than rushing the opening.

Players queue on green matchmaking pads outside the Krusty Krab, with the Classes and Tasks buttons visible.

Which class should you use alone?

These are our recommendations from listed perks, not measured solo win rates.

Fred

Starter

+15 bonus energy at the start of a shift.

Keep your starting class while learning the route.

Jim

150 Doubloons

Cooks patties 25% faster.

A modest first saving target if grilling slows you down.

SpongeBob

2,500 Doubloons

Cooks 2 patties at once and auto-flips cooked patties.

A longer-term option for reducing attention spent at the grill.

Gary’s teammate revive has no teammate to target in solo, although his shake-machine perk still applies. Compare the full class recommendations or inspect SpongeBob’s unlock and limits before spending.

Prep for this day’s menu

Day 1 starts with burgers; drinks and other stations arrive later. AllThingsHow suggests a reserve of ten patties and ten sodas for its broader solo routine. That is preparation advice for an expanded menu, not a Day 1 requirement.

Our approach: start with a manageable reserve, watch what runs out, then increase that item next shift. Do not abandon a live cooking station to build a bigger stockpile elsewhere. A prep target should make service easier, not create another unattended task.

A solo service loop you can repeat

  1. Read: take an order at the register and check its ingredients before walking away.
  2. Build: cook what is missing, assemble the requested recipe and check the tray before marking it ready.
  3. Deliver: match the tray to the customer’s order bubble. The highlighted match helps avoid a wrong table.
  4. Reset: collect finished customers’ money and trays, then assess the next job.

We suggest using that last pause to ask: is food still cooking, is energy low, or is a villain alert active? Resolve the urgent interruption before adding another task to remember.

Close service, then finish the night

Complete customer service and collect outstanding money before expecting the Shift Report. Afterward, follow the night counters for stations, spills, tables and trash, then use the wall clock. If progression stops, follow the stage-by-stage day-not-ending checklist.

Solo has no spare pair of hands

Kelp Shakes restore energy; check the energy guide before a long run. A cooking perk does not answer every villain or protect the fryer. Review the villain counters and fire response as separate jobs.

Solo play FAQ

Can I play solo without buying a class?

Yes. Fred is the starter class; choose Crew Size 1. Paid class unlocks are not required to queue alone.

How do I get the Lone Sponge badge?

The official badge description is “Play a game solo!” It does not specify a day or star threshold.

Does this routine guarantee five stars?

No. The reviewed sources do not establish the exact rating formula. Use the Shift Report to identify problems instead of assuming one prep quantity guarantees a score.
